Available, occupied, cleaning, reserved, maintenance, and blocked. Each transition is logged in the audit chain with timestamp and user.

How does the unit grid work?

The unit grid shows all rooms in a ward or unit with color-coded bed status. Click a room to open the drawer for detailed bed management and status updates.

How do reserved beds work?

Reserved is a manual bed status — coordinators mark a bed reserved and release it when the patient arrives or plans change. Automatic reservation timers are not part of EnaBed.

Are room changes permission-controlled?

Yes. Bed Admin and Bed Staff roles scope who can change bed status, create reservations, and manage room metadata. Platform Owner configures team access.
