Live updates

When live updates is enabled on your plan, bed and room status changes propagate to all connected admin sessions without manual refresh.

How it works

enabed-api publishes occupancy events over a WebSocket channel scoped to the tenant. enabed-app subscribes and patches local state.

Use cases

• Central bed control rooms with multiple coordinators
• Admission desks monitoring incoming transfers
• Ward nurses updating status while managers watch the grid

Plan availability

Live updates is included on Professional and Enterprise tiers. Starter plans rely on manual refresh.

Fallback

If the socket disconnects, the app reconciles on the next focus event or explicit reload — no data loss because the server remains the source of truth.
